triangle shape parcel out of the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of Section 136, T & NO RR Co., Survey, Baylor County, Texas, bounded on the east by the U.S. 277 bypass.

4. Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance, requesting Annexation at the request of area landowners, Clifford Porter, on land located and being described as a 10.0 acre parcel out of the southwest part of the southeast ¼ of Section 136, Certificate No. 1068,
T & NO RR Co., E.R. Morris Survey, Abstract No. 781,
Baylor County, Texas.

No one spoke for the Ordinance.

No one spoke against the Ordinance.

5. Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance, and receive public comments regarding the “Enforcement of a City Ordinance”
of the City of Seymour, Texas; Containing a Severability Clause; and Declaring an Effective Date which authorizes Police Officers, Code Compliance Officers, Animal Control Officers, Building Officials,
Building Inspectors, Health Inspectors and the Fire Marshall, to have
the authority to issue citations, for violations that fall within the
scope of their duties and responsibilities.

Discuss, Consider and take action to adopt Ordinance No. 2008-01, authorizing the annexation at the request of area landowners, Kim Martin and Steve Dreyer, on land located and being described as a 7.26 acre triangle shape parcel out of the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of Section 136, T & NO RR Co., Baylor County, Texas,
bounded on the east by the new U.S. 277 bypass.

seconded by Councilmember Coltharp, to adopt Ordinance No. 2008-01.

passed unanimously.

7. Discuss, Consider and take action to adopt Ordinance No. 2008-02, authorizing the annexation at the request of area landowner,
Clifford Porter, on land located and being described as a 10.0 acre
parcel out of the southwest part of the southeast ¼ of Section 136, Certificate No. 1068, T & NO RR Co., E.R. Morris Survey,
Abstract No. 781, Baylor County, Texas.

seconded by Councilmember Snyder, to adopt Ordinance No. 2008-02.

passed unanimously.

8. Discuss, Consider and take action to adopt Ordinance No. 2008-03, regarding the “Enforcement of a City Ordinance” of the
City of Seymour, Texas; Containing a Severability Clause;
and Declaring an Effective Date which authorizes Police Officers,

9. Discuss, Consider and take final action on
Atmos Energy Rate request, as presented by Mike Schweikhard.

Mr. Schweikhard was unable to attend the Council meeting and provide the
City with all the necessary information concerning the Atmos rate.
Therefore, this item was tabled until next month.

Motion made by Councilmember Coltharp,
seconded by Councilmember Fest to table this item until the February, 2008 Council meeting.

Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.

10. City Council members’ reports and setting of future agenda items.

The Council had no reports or future agenda items to address at this time.

11. Adjournment

Motion made by MPT Tankersley,
seconded by Councilmember Snyder to adjourn meeting at 7:20 p.m.,
passed unanimously.
