1.) Discuss, consider and take action to waive payment in lieu of taxes for the Seymour Housing Authority in the amount of $10,514.61, as requested by Seymour Housing Executive Director Rhonda Richardson.

Motion:
A motion was made by Council Member Sid Winn to waive payment in lieu of taxes,
seconded by Council Member Billy Henricks.

Vote on Motion:
Passed unanimously.

2. Discuss, consider and take action on information presented by
Joe Shephard in reference to recent Attorney General opinion as related to agendas and open meetings act.


Joe Shephard reported on this topic and no action was taken.

3. Discuss, consider and take action to accept a
Right-of-Way Easement Agreement between City of Seymour and Brazos Electric Power Cooperative, Inc.

           
Motion:
A motion was made by Council Member Donald Coltharp to accept a right-of-way easement agreement, seconded by Council Member Nan Gilbert-Mathis.

Vote on the Motion:
Passed unanimously.

4. Discuss, consider and take action on bid received on described property: 405 E. Ingram Street, West/70’ of Lot 7& 8, Block 32,
Original Townsite, in the amount of $200.00 by Johnny Watson.

Motion:
A motion was made by Council Member Rose Tankersley to accept bid,
seconded by Council Member Billy Henricks.

Vote on the Motion:
Passed unanimously.

5. Discuss, consider and take action to appoint Darryl Halencak as Assistant City Attorney, for the City of Seymour.

Motion:
A motion was made by Council Member Donald Coltharp to appoint Darryl Halencak as Assistant City Attorney, seconded by Council Member Rose Tankersley.
     
Vote on the Motion:

Passed unanimously.

           6. Discuss, consider and take action to dismiss penalty
and fees for the year 2005-2006, on property located at
1004 N. Stratton Street as requested by Richard W. Lawson Jr.

Item #6 died due to lack of motion.

Motion:
A motion was made by Council Member Donald Coltharp to put property up for bid, with a minimum bid of $246,000 and the city is retaining the first right of refusal on the building and authorize the city staff to construct a bid to comply with the other discussions that have been made by council, seconded by Council Member Rose Tankersley.

Vote on Motion:
Passed unanimously.
