9.) City Administrator’s report, report of suggestion/concerns
received in City of Seymour Suggestion Box and Well Level Report.
City Administrator Shephard stated there were no suggestions in the suggestion box
this month. Also in your packets you have a letter from TCEQ that the Reverse
Osmosis was in compliance with their regulations, and once more we passed with
flying colors. We’ve been fortunate that all the violations we’ve been cited for have
been minor. You also have a Well-Level report. Some of the wells have come up a
little bit with the rain we have had. 

Everything else seems to be going well other than details that cannot be discussed in
open meeting, but, there have been some personnel changes at the Golf Course. If
you are interested and want details, come by the office and I will be glad to share
them with you.

Council had no comments or questions for City Administrator.

City Council had no reports or any future agenda items that they wished to discuss.

11.) Take action resulting from
deliberations during the Executive Session.

a.) Economic Development Programs: Seymour Industrial Building.

No deliberation was taken regarding the Seymour Industrial Building. The City of
Seymour is waiting on the contract finalization between the City and Mr. Scott
Walker, with Affinity Mills.

b.) Deliberation regarding Business Location: Smokey Bros. BBQ & Grill

Motion:
A motion was made by Council Member Coltharp, seconded by Nan Gilbert-
Mathis, to not allow the City to patch pot hole at 700 W. California Street parking lot,
being the business location of Smokey Bros. BBQ & Grill.

Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.

c.) Deliberation regarding prospective gift:
Suburban to the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department.

Motion:
A motion was made by Council Member Coltharp, seconded by MPT
Tankersley to accept a 1999 Suburban, from Tom Coker, as a gift to the
Seymour Volunteer Fire Department.

Council Member Winn signed a Conflict of Interest Form and abstained from
voting, as he is a member of the Volunteer Fire Department.

Vote on motion:
passed unanimously.

Motion to adjourn was made by MPT Tankersley,
seconded by CM Winn to adjourn at 8:20 p.m.
