A Regular City Council Meeting was held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2007,
at the Portwood Arts and Civic Center, 800 E. Morris, Seymour, TX 76380.

CALL TO ORDER/ ROLL CALL

by Mayor Craighead at 7:00 p.m.

Council Present:

Mayor Dan Craighead, Council Member Donald G. Coltharp, Council Member Donna Fest, Mayor Pro Tem Don Butler,
Council Member Rose Tankersley and Council Member David Snyder

Council Absent:

None

Counsel Present:
None

Staff Present:

City Administrator Joe Shephard, Recording Secretary Suzanne Shumate, Police Chief Tommy Duncan,
Economic Development Director John W. Studer,

CONSENT AGENDA:

1. CONSIDER APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS:

a.) Approve Thursday, December 14, 2006, Regular Meeting Minutes.

b.) Approve the bills dated December 1st, December 18th, December 19th and December 28th, 2006.

c.) Accept REPORTS

1. Monthly Investment Report

2. First National Bank accounts report summary

3. Employee List

4. Golf Course Revenue and Membership totals report

d.) Accept and approve the City of Seymour, Texas Fiscal Year 2006-2007,
Quarter 1 Investment Report, as presented by the Investment Officers.

e.) Approve agreement to retain the firm of
Jacob and Martin Engineering of Abilene, as City Engineers, for the consideration of $1.00 (one dollar) per year.

Motion:

A motion was made by Council Member David Snyder to accept the consent agenda,
seconded by Council Member Rose Tankersley.

Vote on the motion:

Passed unanimously.
