Regular City Council Meeting, Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at the Portwood Arts and Civic Center, 800 E. Morris, Seymour, TX 76380. All notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.002(c). The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all of its citizens. If you have need of auxiliary aids, please notify the ADA Coordinator at 889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance. (Items listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine and are generally enacted in one motion. The exception to this rule is that a Council Member may request one or more items to be removed from the Consent Agenda for separate discussion and action.)

1. CONSIDER APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS:

a) Approve Thursday, April 20, 2006, Regular Meeting Minutes, and Memo Summary (no Council quorum) of the Monthly Community Communications Meeting minutes from April 13, 2006.

b) Approve the bills dated April 15, 2006 and April 30, 2006.

c) Accept Reports

1. Monthly Investment Report

2. lst National Bank accounts report summary

3. Employee List

4. Golf Course Revenue and Membership totals report

d) Authorize City Staff to advertise for land leases if the current lease holders do not exercise their one-year options for July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007, for the Shipman Land Lease and the Harris Land Lease.

e) Approve the establishment of special Summer 2006 promotion for City Park Pool, being a ‘Summer Swim Pass’ for $50.00 per person for all dates (except during private parties) the City Park pool is open during swim season 2006.

f) Authorize and approve the request for bids for sewer system materials, according to bid specifications drawn up by City Engineer Ken Martin; required by ‘City Park area sewer improvements’ grant project - Texas Community Development Project contract # 725791.
