6. Discuss, Consider and take action to designate

as the designated signators for its

7.
Discuss, Consider and take action to authorize staff to
transfer up to
$20,000 from the fire truck reserve fund 410-1773, for the purchase of
ten (10) fire hydrants to replace existing hydrants and to create both
transfer line item in general revenue account and expense line item in
Fire Department Budget for this purchase.
Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Winn, seconded by Council Member Fest,
to authorize staff to transfer up to $20,000 from the fire truck reserve fund,
for the purchase of ten fire hydrants.
Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.
8. Discuss, Consider and take action on bid(s) received on described property:
201 W. McLain Street, Lot 19-21, Block 23, Original Townsite.
Three bids were received on the 201 W. McLain Street property:
Mr. John Horn bid $3,030.00,
Mr. Johnny Aylor bid $2,825.00,
Ron and Lisa Gray bid $500.00.
Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Coltharp, seconded by Council Member Winn,
to accept and award the bid to Mr. John Horn for the amount of $3,030.00 for
the 201 W. McLain property.
Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.
9. City Administrator’s Report, Well-Level Report
and suggestions received
in the suggestion box.
The City Park creek is being cleaned out by TXDOT. This goes back to our Mitigation
Grant Project that was approved some time back. The State is cleaning out the
creek and it will look nice once they complete the project. Also, the work that
Greg Shumate and his department did will be reimbursed by the State.
I will be in San Angelo tomorrow attending school on continuing education.
If the Council doesn’t object, I would like to attend the funeral of Greg
Knox on Monday afternoon. Knox Waste Service and the City work together on a
regular basis. Mr. Merle Knox’s son passed away following a brief illness
and I would like to attend the funeral on Monday. Please keep them in your prayers.
10. City Council members’ reports and settings
of future agenda items.
The Council had no reports or future agenda items to address at this time.
