Seymour Police Chief Tommy Duncan, Interim Street Supervisor Adam
Sturgeon, Economic Development Director John Studer and Emergency
Management Coordinator Jerry Pruitt were present and each gave their reports
to the Council.
City Secretary Conchita Torrez submitted her report in writing.

the Curfew Hours for Minors”, (replacing and updating Ordinance 2004-07)

citizens regarding the adoption and implementation of a
Zoning Ordinance
for the City of Seymour.
Mayor Craighead asked if anyone had any questions
or comments concerning
these two Public Hearing Items.

to adopt Ordinance No. 2007-01, ‘Continuing the Curfew
Hours for Minors’
as required every 3 years per State Law.

6. Discuss, Consider and take action to Adopt Ordinance
No. 2007-02, implementing a Zoning Ordinance for the City of Seymour.
Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Snyder, seconded by Council
Member Butler
to adopt Ordinance No. 2007-02, implementing a Zoning
Ordinance for the City of Seymour.
Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.
7. Discuss, Consider and take action to adopt
Ordinance No.
2007-03, adopting a Flood Damage Prevention Plan,
and repealing Ordinance No.
87-2.
Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Coltharp, seconded by Council Member
Snyder, to repeal Ordinance No. 87-2, and adopt Ordinance No. 2007-03
as an updated version that is required by FEMA and TCEQ.
Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.
