After viewing of the bids by the Council and a discussion on the different methods of roofing, the Council chose to table this item until more information and research is made by CA Shephard.

9. Discuss, Consider and take action on bid received on property by Mr. Jeff Betts located at 307 E. Miller Street, legal description known as parcel 20130, Original, Lot 10, Block 14.

seconded by MPTTankersley, to accept bid of $500.00 from Jeff Betts, on property located
at 307 E. Miller, legal description known as parcel 20130, Original, Lot 10, Block 14.

10. Discuss, Consider and take action upon annual request of Mrs.Rhonda Richardson, Interim Executive Director for the Seymour Housing Authority, to waive payment in lieu of taxes (PILOT), in the amount of $7,970.45.

Motion:

Motion by Council Member Snyder, seconded by MPT Tankersley,
to waive the Seymour Housing Authority payment in lieu of taxes in the amount of $7,970.45.

Vote on the Motion:

passed unanimously.

11. Discuss, Consider and give direction to City Staff regarding the
proposed budget as presented to City Council.


City Administrator Shephard presented the Proposed Budget to the Council.
After reviewing each department item, the Council had no questions or comments. The budget will be approved at the next Council Meeting.

12. City Administrator’s report, report of suggestions/concerns received in City of Seymour Suggestion Box, and Well-Level Report.

City Administrator Shephard stated there were no suggestions in the suggestion box. FEMA has been in town due to the damages that the bridges and streets received. Also, the sewer plant received some damage due to high concentrated water during the storms.

13. City Council members’ reports and settings of future agenda items.

No future items were presented by Council.
