SEYMOUR CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 17, 2009

A Regular City Council Meeting was held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2009,
at 7:00 p.m., at the Portwood Arts and Civic Center, 800 E. Morris, Seymour, TX 76380.

CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
by Mayor Reeves at 7:03 p.m.

Council Present:
Mayor Ronald B. Reeves, MPT Sid Winn, Council Member Donald Coltharp,
Council Member David Horton, Council Member Nan Gilbert-Mathis
and Council Member Billy Henricks.

Counsel Present:
none

Staff Present:
City Secretary Conchita Torrez, Police Officer Rick Hill and Finance Director Mary Griffin.

Guests:
Marvin Griffin and Jim Castagna

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
was led by Mayor Reeves

ANNOUNCEMENTS FROM THE MAYOR:
Mayor Reeves stated that the first two months in the Fiscal Year, the City has operated
in the black, and for the first time since 2005, money has been placed in Reserve Accounts
that the City is required to do so, while some accounts just need to have money put back for future use, and we are proud of that.

CITIZENS QUESTIONS AND / OR COMMENTS:
No one spoke or had any questions.

CONSENT AGENDA:

1. Consider approving the consent agenda as follows:
(a.) Approve meeting minutes from Tuesday, November 24, 2009
and Special Called Meeting December 8, 2009.

(b.) Approve the City Bills Report for the month of November, 2009.

(c.) Accept Reports
1. Monthly Investment Report
2. First National Bank accounts report summary
3. Employee List
4. SFRE Membership Total Report

END OF CONSENT AGENDA

Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Donald Coltharp and seconded by
Council Member Nan Gilbert-Mathis to accept consent agenda as presented.

Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.
