and suggestions from the Suggestion box.
There were no suggestions in the suggestion box this month. I also attended
a TCEQ meeting in Austin and received some information that was very
Informative. At their last Legislative Update, their funds have been
reduced, therefore, causing TCEQ to raise their fine and permit fees.
Also, an engineer should be here next week to inspect the Home TreasuresBuilding
on Washington Street and give me an update sometime next week.
5. City Council members’ reports and setting
of future agenda items.
The council agreed on changing the December agenda from
December 21st to December 14, 2006, due to the holidays.

6. Receive information from City Administrator, discuss
or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the
City Council has received from business(es) that the City Council seeks
to have locate, stay, or expand in the City of Seymour and with which
the City Council is conducting economic development negotiations, being
Cactus Juice/Mill Creek formerly Safe Solutions.
7. Personnel – City Secretary
EXECUTIVE SESSION CLOSES:
PUBLIC MEETING RESUMES at 8:08 p.m.
8. Take Action resulting from deliberations during
Executive Session.
No action was taken concerning Cactus Juice/Mill Creek formerly Safe
Solutions during the Executive Session.
Council reviewed the applications for City Secretary position and
Received input from City Administrator Joe Shephard.
Motion:
Motion made by Councilmember David Snyder,
2nd by Councilmember Donald Coltharp , to appoint Conchita Torrez as
City Secretary.
Vote on the motion:
passed unanimously.
9. Administer Oath of Office to City Secretary.
Conchita Torrez received her oath of office as City Secretary by Mayor
Dan Craighead.

Motion to adjourn at 8:15p.m. by MPT Butler, 2nd by
Councilmember David Snyder and passed unanimously.
