Electric, Water, Sewer, Police, Street, R. 0. Plant, SFRE Golf Complex,
Economic Development and City Secretary.
 
Water/Wastewater Supervisor Greg Shumate and Chief of Police
Tommy Duncan, each gave their respective report to Council.
 
Economic Development Director John Studer, submitted his report
in writing, along with City Secretary Conchita Torrez .

3. Discuss, consider and take action on request for
proposals for the lease/purchase of fire truck as budgeted. 

 
Motion:
Motion was made by Council Member Snyder, seconded by MPT Tankersley, to accept the proposal bid from Citicapital for the amount of $25,300.94 to purchase a fire truck for the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department.
 
Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously, with Council Member Sid Winn,
abstaining from vote. (CM Winn is a member and an officer with the
Seymour Volunteer Fire Department).
 
 4. Discuss, consider and take action concerning purchase of
vehicle from Premier Pontiac, Buick, GMC for
Waste Water Department as budgeted.

 
Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Coltharp and seconded by
Council Member Snyder, to purchase a vehicle for the Waste Water
Department, for the amount of $25,727.42 as budgeted, from Premier Pontiac.
 
Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.
 
5. Discuss, consider and take action on bid received on property
located at 420 E. McLain Street, legal description being;
lots 21 & 22, Block 24, Original Townsite, for the amount of
$430.00 by Laramie Reaves.

 
Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Snyder and seconded by MPT Tankersley, to accept
the bid amount of $430.00 from Laramie Reaves for property located at 420 E. McLain Street.
 
Vote on Motion:
passed unanimously.
 
6. Discuss, consider and take action on bid received on property
located at 601 N. Washington Street, legal description being:
lots 15-17, Block 10, Morris Addition, for the amount of
$573.00 by David Blankenship.

 
Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Winn and seconded by Council
Member Coltharp, to accept the bid amount of $573.00 from David
Blankenship for property located at 601 N. Washington.
 
Vote on motion:
passed unanimously.
