Civics Center, 800 E. Morris, Seymour, Texas, for a term of service beginning October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2008.

Motion made by Council Member Coltharp and seconded by Council Member Snyder,
to award the Portwood Pavilion Custodial Contract Service to Steve and Tammy Young,
for the amount of $75.00 per week.

9. Discuss, consider and take action regarding the extension and increase in contract cost for the contract between the City of Seymour, and Lee Hembree for Maintenance and upkeep of the following
City properties: City Park, Industrial Site #1, Soccer Field and
Jogging Trail; contract extension to begin October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2008.

Motion:
Motion made by MPT Tankersley and seconded by Council Member Snyder,
to extend the contract between the City of Seymour and Lee Hembree for Maintenance
and upkeep of the City of Seymour properties. Contract extension to begin October 1, 2007, through September 30, 2008.

10. Discuss, consider and take action regarding extension and
increase in contract cost for the contract between the City of Seymour and Trish Hons, for maintenance and cleaning at the following
City facilities located at 301 N. Washington: Utility Office, Finance, Municipal Court Office, Economic Dev. Office, Conference Room and Administrative offices, contract extension to begin October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2008.


Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Snyder and seconded by Council Member Fest, to
approve the contract between City of Seymour and Trish Hons, for maintenance and cleaning, beginning October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2008.

11. Discuss and receive information/comments by Ms. Sandra D’Luge, regarding the Seymour Speedway, located at 300 E. Mclain Street.

Ms. D’Luge addressed her concern to the Council on the parking situation at her residence at 400 E. Mclain during the Seymour Speedway events. After discussing and addressing the issue at hand, and hearing comments from Loy Studer, who spoke on behalf of the Seymour Speedway, and Cooper Haskin, Mayor Craighead advised Chief Tommy Duncan to look into the parking situation and check into other parking options to benefit both parties.

13. Discuss, consider and take action on bids received last month
on the municipally-owned buildings: City Hall Building;
located at 301 N. Washington Street and Seymour Industrial Building; located at 1007 N. Cactus Trail, upon receiving more
information from City Administrator.

Motion:
Motion made by Councilman Snyder and seconded by MPT Tankersley, to award the City Hall Building bid to Booe Construction for the amount of $21,483.00, and to award the Seymour Industrial Building to Tim’s Roofing for the amount of $39,000.00.
