SEYMOUR CITY COUNCIL
OCTOBER 21, 2010

A regular City Council Meeting was held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010, at the Portwood Arts and Civic Center, 800 E. Morris, Seymour, Texas 76380.

Call to Order and Roll Call:
by Mayor Ronald B. Reeves at 7:03 p.m.

Council Present:
Mayor Ronald Reeves, Council Members Donald Coltharp, David Horton,
Billy Henricks and MPT Sid Winn.

Council Member Nan Gilbert- Mathis arrived at 7:05 p.m.

Council Absent:
none

Counsel Present:
none

Staff Present:
City Secretary Conchita Torrez,
Economic Development Director/Interim City Administrator John W. Studer,
Water/WWTP Supt. Greg Shumate, Street Supt. Adam Sturgeon and Electric Supt., Brad Tilley.

Guests:
Danny Casillas, Carolyn Ashley, and Jim Castagna.

Proclamation regarding Czech Heritage Month
was read by Mayor Ronald Reeves.

Announcements from the Mayor:
There were no announcements made by Mayor Reeves.

Citizen’s Questions and/or Comments:
No one spoke at this time.

CONSENT AGENDA:
Items listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine and are generally enacted
in one motion. The exception to this rule is that a Council Member may request one or more
items to be removed from the Consent Agenda for separate discussion and action.

1. CONSIDER APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA AS FOLLOWS:

a. Approve Thursday, September 16, 2010, Regular Meeting Minutes

b. Approve City Council report for City Bills paid in September, 2010.

c. Accept REPORTS

1. Monthly Investment Report
2. lst National Bank accounts report summary
3. Employee List
4. SFRE Membership Report

d.) Accept and approve the City of Seymour, Texas, Fiscal Year 2009-2010,
Quarter 4 Investment Report, as presented by the Investment Officers.

e.) Discuss and take action concerning annual contract between Baylor County
Appraisal District for Assessment and Collection Services of the Baylor County
Appraisal District, beginning January 1, 2011 and ending December 31, 2011.

END OF CONSENT AGENDA

Motion:
Motion made by Council Member Donald Coltharp, seconded by Council Member Billy Henricks to accept the Consent Agenda as presented by City Staff.

Vote on motion passed unanimously.
