SPECIAL CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MAY 4, 2012

A Special City Council Meeting was held on Friday, May 4, 2012, at 12:00 noon at
301 N. Washington Street, Upstairs in the City of Seymour Conference Room,
Seymour, TX 76380.

Call to Order, Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance:
led by Mayor Ronald B. Reeves at 12:15 p.m.

Council Present:
Mayor Ronald B. Reeves, Donald Coltharp, David Horton, Nan Gilbert-Mathis,
Billy Henricks and MPT Sid Winn.

Council Absent:
none

City Staff Present:
Interim City Administrator John W. Studer and City Secretary Conchita Torrez.

Guests Present:
none

REGULAR MEETING ENDS; EXECUTIVE SESSION BEGINS at 12:17 p.m.

1. Seymour City Council will convene in closed session as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551,
Section 551.087- Economic Negotiations,
regarding Electrical Service Provider.

2. Seymour City Council will convene in closed session as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551,
Section 551.074- Personnel – General Information regarding Water;Sewer; R.O., Electrical and Street Department.

EXECUTIVE SESSION ENDS;
REGULAR MEETING RECONVENES at 1:15 p.m.

1. Take action if necessary on items
addressed during Executive Session.

Motion made by Council Member Billy Henricks and
seconded by Council Member Donald Coltharp, to award
AEP the latest version of their proposal beginning
June 1, 2012- December 2017.

Motion passed unanimously.

Motion made by MPT Sid Winn and seconded by
Council Member Donald Coltharp to accept the
NorthEast Services, Inc., DBA Horton Tree Service Contract
to trim and remove trees, and to clear all debris for the
total price of $108,000.00.

Motion passed unanimously.

Adjournment made by MPT Winn and seconded by
Council Member Henricks to adjourn at meeting at 1:22 p.m.
