Bid Notice

The City of Seymour will be accepting sealed bids on land previously known as “Kohut Land”. Description of said land is a 45.30 acre tract, previously called 44.8 acres, being all of a called 143.4 acre tract out of the West part of the South Half of Section 106, T & NO RR CO Survey, Abstract 779, Baylor County, Texas lying east of the old Wichita Valley Railroad.

For detailed information, and a copy of map on described land, you may contact Interim City Administrator John Studer,
at 940-889-3148. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Kohut Land”. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at which time bids will be opened and read aloud.

A minimum bid of $1,200.00 per acre
has been set by City Council.

Bids will be considered by City Council for award
at the Regular City Council Meeting on May 19, 2011.

The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
