BUDGET WORKSHOP

A Special Called Budget Workshop was held on Thursday, August 02, 2012 at 6:00 P.M. at the City of Seymour Office, Upstairs in Conference Room, 301 N. Washington Street, Seymour, TX 76380.

Call to Order, Roll Call and Pledge of Allegianc:
by Mayor Ronald B. Reeves at 6:10 p.m.

Council Present:
Mayor Ronald B. Reeves, Council Members Donald Coltharp, David Horton, MPT Nan Gilbert-Mathis, Billy Henricks and Monty Glass.

Counsel Present:
none

City Staff Present:
Interim City Administrator John W. Studer, City Secretary Conchita Torrez
and Finance Director Mary Griffin.

1. City Council Members will discuss and consider
budget draft for Fiscal Year 2012-2013, as proposed by
Mayor and City Staff. City Council may direct modifications to proposed Budget document.

Meeting was held by Mayor, City Council and City Staff to go over the
proposed budget for the year 2012-2013. After a lengthy discussion, Council
entered into an Executive Session.

Regular Meeting ends and
Executive Session begins at 9:32 p.m.

2. Executive Session closed to the public, pursuant to
Chapter 551 of the Texas Local Government Code under: §551.074; Receive and discuss general information regarding Personnel Departments: Electric, Water/Sewer,
R.O., Street, SFRE and Police Department.

Executive Session closes;
Public Meeting Resumes at 10:47 p.m.

 3. Take action regarding deliberation in Executive Session.

 No action was taken from deliberations in Executive Session.

 4. Adjournment by MPT Mathis and seconded by
Council Member Henricks at 10:59 p.m.
