SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
DECEMBER 13, 2012 • 12:00 noon

A Special Called Meeting of Seymour City Council was held on Thursday, December 13, 2012, 12:00 noon, at 800 E. Morris Street, Portwood Art & Civic Center, Seymour Texas 76380.

Call to Order, Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance:
was led by MPT Nan Gilbert-Mathis at 12:20 p.m.

Council Present:
MPT Nan Gilbert-Mathis, Councilmembers David Horton, Donald Coltharp and Billy Henricks.

Council Absent:
Mayor Ronald B. Reeves and Council member Monty Glass.

Staff Present:
Interim City Administrator John W. Studer, City Secretary Conchita Torrez
and Water/Sewer Supervisor Gregg Shumate.

Guest:
Steven Todd and John Snodgrass

Counsel Present:
none

1. Discuss, consider and take action regarding Water Tank Maintenance Contract between City of Seymour and Utility Service Co., Inc. for a 150,000 G.S.T. – Dry Tank
located at 1099 N. Grossman Street.

After a presentation from Utility Service Co., Inc. regarding information on tank, a motion was made by Council member Coltharp, seconded by Council member Henricks to table this item until further review.

Motion passed unanimously.

2. Discuss, consider and take action regarding Water Tank Maintenance Contract between City of Seymour and Utility Service Co., Inc. for a 200,000 Standpipe School Tank located at 500 Stadium Drive .

After a presentation from Utility Service Co., Inc. regarding information on tank, a motion was made by Council member Coltharp, seconded by Council member Henricks to table this item until further review.

Motion passed unanimously.

3. Discuss, consider and take action regarding Water Tank Maintenance Contract between City of Seymour and Utility Service Co., Inc. for a 150,000 Elevated City Hall Tank located at 300 N. Washington Street.

After a presentation from Utility Service Co., Inc. regarding information on tank, a motion was made by Council member Coltharp, seconded by Council member Henricks to table this item until further review.

Motion passed unanimously.

No further discussion was held. Council did not enter into an Executive Session.
