A Special Called City Council Meeting was held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, February 24, 2011 at City Hall, 301 N. Washington Street, Seymour Texas 76380.

CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
by Mayor Ronald B. Reeves at 5:36 p.m.

COUNCIL PRESENT:
Mayor Reeves, Council Members Donald Coltharp, David Horton,
Nan Gilbert-Mathis, Billy Henricks and MPT Sid Winn.

COUNCIL ABSENT:
NONE

COUNSEL PRESENT:
NONE

STAFF PRESENT:
Interim City Administrator John W. Studer,
City Secretary Conchita Torrez and Finance Director Mary Griffin.

GUESTS:
NONE

Remove from table:

1. Discuss, Consider, and take Action on proposals received from
Health Insurance Representatives Richard Walker with
TML Insurance and Deana Dalton with Caprock Insurance.

After much deliberation Mayor Reeves entertained a motion.
Motion made by Council Member David Horton and seconded by
Council Member Henricks to choose TML as the City of Seymour
Insurance Carrier and go with TML Plan 2- which is a $750 deductible
at no cost to City employee. Vote on motion passed unanimously.

2. Discuss, Consider, and take action
regarding renovations to City Park Pool.

Discussion regarding the City Pool, was that the original color of
Maroon was not available in paint or tile. Therefore, the color of the tile
was changed to an Indigo Blue instead.

3. Adjournment was made by MPT Winn to adjourn at 6:45 p.m.
and seconded by Council Member Horton.

Vote on motion passed unanimously.
