A Special Called City Council Meeting was held on Monday, March 7, 2011, at 5:45 p.m.,
at the Portwood Art and Civic Center, 800 E. Morris Street.

CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
by Mayor Ronald B. Reeves at 5:49 p.m.

COUNCIL PRESENT:
Council Members David Horton, Nan Gilbert-Mathis, Billy Henricks and MPT Sid Winn.

COUNCIL ABSENT:
Donald Coltharp

Council Member Coltharp arrived at 5:57 p.m.

CITY STAFF PRESENT:
Interim City Administrator John Studer, City Secretary Conchita Torrez
and Finance Director Mary Griffin.

GUESTS:
AEP Representatives Lanny Aldridge and Brian Whitlatch

1. Discuss, consider and take action regarding a blend and extend contract between City of Seymour and AEP.

Mr. Aldridge and Whitlach presented Mayor Reeves and City Council with a blend and extend contract. After a lengthy discussion, Council decided they would like to receive more accurate figures. A motion was made to table this item.

MPT Winn made a motion to table this item for the March 24, 2011, meeting and allow
Mr. Aldridge and Whitlatch to provide figures to the Council. Seconded by
Council Member Nan Gilbert Mathis. Vote on motion passed unanimously.

2. Discuss, consider and take action
regarding renovations of City Park Pool.

Council chose to table this item until the March 24, 2011.

MPT Winn made a motion to table this agenda item,
seconded by Council Member Henricks. Vote on motion passed unanimously.

Executive Session begins at 7:05 p.m.

A motion was made by Council Member Coltharp, seconded by Council Member Henricks
to take no action on this agenda item until further information would be received.

Vote on motion passed unanimously.

(b) Street Department
A motion was made by Council Member Henricks, seconded by MPT Winn to take no action on this agenda item until further information would be received by Finance Director Mary Griffin. Vote on motion passed unanimously.

5. Adjournment made by MPT Winn, seconded by
Council Member Henricks to adjourn meeting at 8:00 p.m.
