This celebration of Seymour
and its citizens is sponsored by the Seymour Chamber of Commerce as a "Thank
You" to its members and the citizens of Seymour who provide such generous
support each year. This themed event is a greatly anticipated evening full
of fun, good food, special recognitions and wonderful entertainment. It
is also the event that announces and presents the Outstanding Senior Boy
and Girl awards and scholarships to two graduating Seniors from Seymour
High School.
In 2001, the infamous Trammell Group of Denton, Texas, entertained the crowd
with their own unique style of musical parody.
At the 2000 banquet, noted photographer and author Wyman Minzer was on hand
to autograph his latest book. We are grateful that he could take time out
of his schedule.
